Sayona Speakers

Subwoofer and Midrange Speaker

Sayona speakers can be categorized into two types only. They are and are commonly referred to as;

Bass Speakers

These speakers produce the bass audio output. Most of the Sayona woofers have a 6.5-inch dual coil speaker.

In smaller subwoofers, you can get a 4-inch dual coil speaker while in others (though rare) you can get an 8-inch dual coil speaker.

The speakers are in the dual coil (2 in 1 coil) for the purpose of producing heavy bass.

At House of Electronics, we mainly stock the 6.5-inch Sayona speaker. We have 2 ohms and 4 ohms variations.

Kindly talk to us if you need to replace it.

Mid-Range Speakers

The Sayona Mid-range speakers produce mid and highs (tweeter) sound and come in 4 inches size.

This inbuilt amplifier has specific channels for them and the sound output is crisp clean. Additionally, they have a high resistance coil for quality audio output.

Sayona woofers usually come as 2.1 or 3.1 channel meaning they either have 2 or 3 midrange speakers.

At House of Electronics, we stock genuine Sayona mid-range speakers and the price is quite affordable. If you need to do a replacement, kindly contact us.

Sayona Subwoofer Transformers

Like in a majority of other powered subwoofers, Sayona Woofers are powered by transformers as opposed to power supplies.

In case of a power surge, most of the times the transformer is damaged. To prevent this, I would advise you to get a power surge protector.

Sayona transformers have one input and two outputs. Primary 240 volts ac input. The output consists of a 15.5 volts output and 9 volts output.

The 15.5 volts output powers the amplifier while the 9 volts output powers the tuner section and other sections.

Kindly send us a photo of your transformer via Whatsapp. This so that we can be able to identify the voltage outputs…

Sayona Subwoofer Motherboards

Sayona woofer Motherboards play a very critical role in the setup of these amazing sound machines.

They connect the Powerboard, Amplifier audio control, Fm radio, SSD compartment and the USB compartment.

These boards drive all the major functionalities of this appliance and are thus susceptible to faults many a time.

In addition, the boards are made of microprocessor IC’s that are highly protected via voltage regulators.

We do stock a variety of these Sayona motherboards and trying to get the unavailable one. Kindly send an image of your board via Whatsapp for instant help.

The Sayona Woofer Powerboard also has an amplifier compartment within it. This is where power from the transformer is rectified and distributed to the other sections.

In addition, the amplifier is also housed within this board. This is great in regards to the utilization of space.

A majority of the Sayona Subwoofer Repair happens within this board. In my own words, this is the engine of this woofer.

Well, we do stock some boards. Kindly forward us a photo of your board via WhatsApp to get an instant reply on the availability.

Kindly note that you can also do some modifications on different boards incase a similar one to yours is not availble.

However, this may need the input of a qualified technician.

Electronic components play a very major role in the Sayona subwoofer repair process. Without them, it would be impossible to carry out the repair.

The main components are:

  • Amp IC’s=======TDA2030,TDA2050
  • Pre-amp IC======JRC4558
  • Regulators
  • Electrolytic Capacitors
  • Rectifier and Signal Diodes
  • Resistors
